Campaign Goals
  • Introduce SOL Mexican Cocina to the Las Vegas market
  • Create buzz in the tourist corridor with media and local outreach to drive traffic to the restaurant

SOL Mexican Cocina asks WG to introduce their brand to the Las Vegas Strip and the community with a bang. We examined what drives consumers to the various restaurants on the strip as well as defining the competitors in the Mexican/costal cuisine category. We created personas of consumers and what their profile looked like as a potential customer. After extrapolating the information we produced a high energy marquee video board that played an original spot in front of The Forum Shops at Caesars, along with windows timed to match with specific messages on each to get the on the strip buzz while driving or walking. In addition, the campaign included other high-tourist media placement such as in-taxi videos, bus shelter ads and advertising within The Forum Shops at Caesars. We topped that off with a small amount of local reach through video, audio and outdoor to support their digital efforts. The effect was heard loud and clear and the restaurant launch was successful with strong traffic and high check averages.
