Secure media coverage to promote annual Memorial Day Rib Fest


WG provides public relations support to Casino Fandango for events and other important initiatives. The property launched a first-time event, Ribfest. The client's goal was to draw attendees from a large radius beyond Carson City including Reno. WG coordinated every element of the public relations campaign down to the tablecloths and the tray of mouthwatering food for the news anchors. WG helped drive awareness and attendance across many platforms and by arranging interviews on all local tv and radio stations. The successful multi-day event drew over 10,000 people.
